Small started up from the bed, alarmed, and concerned for the well-being of small;
"Small, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, Small, go back to sleep."

oh man, this is great. i think this is going somewhere.

| Eventually, Small rose from the bed, and discovered to his unceasing alarm that he was alone, he breifly pondered where it could be that Small had gone. Then, upon further review, he decided (decisively!) that he was Small.
Armed with this priceless bit of information, he dressed himself, down all the way to his geeky blue shoes.
"hmm," wondered Small, "I wonder if the Homeschool gym night will go as badly as basketball usually does for me."
From deep inside himself, he heard the voice of Small replying,
"You shall see, dear friend Small."
Then Small discovered that his guitar, which he has to tune by ear with a pitch-pipe was completely out of tune. Small attributed this to his brother, who had been home from college for one night only, and had probably, in a fit of some kind, be it insanity, or whatnot, had deliberately untuned Small's guitar.
Or then again, it could be the cat.
The cat, a grayscale animal save for its pink nose, went by the name of Missy, dear reader rest assured that our suave (or at the very least, imbecelic) protagonist and narrator did not bestow that moniker on the feline. Small's late cat, (may he Rest in Peace) was addressed by all as "Putzoe".
The cat in question however, when sleeping on Small's bed, frequenty attempted to eat the tuning posts on Small's guitar, thus turning them quite dramatically, for this reason, Small had been in the habit of placing a hat over the head of his guitar when he went to bed at night.
This last night however, Small had not done so, consequences of him losing his hat.
Thus the guitar was messed up either by Small's elder sibling, or by a feminine feline.
Small is not certain. But Small will find out. Or at least, so Small tells Small....

| Murder In CGR Land!!! Small did not know. He had to now own up to the sad truth of it. It was saturday, getting towards evening, and Small had not found out. Found out what???
Well, that Small didn't know, but he supposed he would find that out too. Small supposed a lot of things. Seeing as Small didn't know, supposition was about as good as it got for Small as far as went such things as knowledge. He didn't think knowledge went especially far.
He decide he would wait. Then find out probably. Nothing much was happening... Nothing much had happened. This had been a boring week, the doldrums had come, the doldrums of January.
Small walked out through the USB cable to the monitor, it was dusty inside that great cavernous space, he examined the ceiling, indeed there was the blog, sitting unused, except for....
His eye fell to the ground, he gave a violent start and grasped for something to support himself.
There was nothing. Small plunged into the thick dust, setting a tremendous cloud rolling about the inside of the monitor, "Blast." coughed out Small, rising to his feet, unsteadily, he tottered forward, and stared open-mouthed at the horrid spector on the ground.
The dead twitching body of Small lay in the dust, it had been there for some time; the dust had settled down on it.
Wait! Perhaps not so dead as at first it had appeared! Small bent lower, the breath came faint, and Small's eyes popped open,
"Hi Mister Empty Blog!" he gasped, then twitched again and lay still.
Small turned, pale and shaken. He ran for the stack, someone had to be told, yes, indeed, something had to be done about this, this MURDER IN CGR LAND!!!

Well, I do believe my autobiography was right, there honestly isn't much to say, so I'll let my Autobiography do the talking...

| A NEW CHARACTER!!!! Private Investigators are not generally a savoury bunch. So Small was extremely nervous as he approached the offices of one Sabertooth 181, licensed as an investigator of whatever you jolly well felt like paying to find out. He combined the know-how of an encyclopedia with the toughness of a Texas sherriff. He was from Texas incidentally.
The office was in a tiny neglected corner of town, but nestled up against the side of the CPU, so Small was confident that this man had smarts at least.
"Yes?"
inquired the man behind the desk. It was too dark to observe him closely, but Small was too fidgety to do so anyway. The smoke rose from an extinguished cigarette and spiraled in the draft from the slow groove ceiling fan.
Everything looked exactly like a shady P.I's office should, save for Relient K blasting on the stereo system. Small didn't mind especially; he liked Relient K, but he wondered if maybe there shouldn't be something a little more brainy, blues or Jazz for instance.
"Yes?" asked the voice from behind the desk again and Small started,
"Oh, I came to ask if you would do some detecting for me."
"Oh really? Isn't that why most people come here? Unless they're selling something, and I can tell you're not."
Small was wowed by this show of intellect.
"Do you want to know the particulars of the case?"
"I already know them. News travels fast around here; besides, I can read it like a book; you found someone close to you dead on the ground, no real clues and so you came to me."
"Uh-huh." said Small, now thoroughly convinced that this man was good.
"And the victim's name was Small."
"Yup." said Small.

Besides that, not a lot's been going on. Save a few little things...

Originally Posted by natedawg5280 Did small die? He is still talking... "Yup" | It's pretty complicated, actually. Yes, Small did die. But Small is alive. It's, an extremely weird autobiography. . . As my sig points out, I am a member of the "My Blog is Weird; Weird Blogs Are Ghetto Fabulous" club. And not without reason, besides, some things have to be taken by faith.
Furthermore, today I went to the thrift-store in town and bought a pinstriped suit for six dollars and no reason, then I came home, at cinnamon rolls, washed some dishes and went to a huge music store in Columbus with my cousin to look at guitars.
My personal money holdings are fairly low right now. So I just looked longingly, and felt like crying.
Well, actually, I didn't feel like crying, but I did wish heartily that I had, oh, about eight hundred dollars right handy to blow on a guitar....
Last night my mom made these little mini-quiches, and they're awesome, I would offer you one, but sadly, food cannot be transmitted through the internet.
Leastwise, I don't think so....
Small was not totally satisfied with the investigation being carried out by the PI, in fact, it had been an entire day, with no clear resolution to the case. And some of the factors were really starting to bother Small. For instance, how had Small died.
This question was easy enough to answer in its own right, Small had been there when Small died, the method of death had been to gasp out something uninteligible and then pass out of this world, and yet there had been no obvious marks upon Small's body. Or maybe there had been, Small had not examined the cadaver. Small discussed this reality over the dinner table with Small;
"I keep feeling guilty somehow, as if, as if it's my fault that Small died, after all, if I'd been there a little earlier, he wouldn't have died. It's all my fault."
"Don't blame yourself." Small advised, "You couldn't have stopped a murder. He would probably have killed you too. You were spared so that you could find this murderer and exact justice. You have to avenge Small, to make sure that his killer does not walk free."
"Well, I'm trying. But Sabertooth still hasn't gotten any answers."
"So look for them on your own."
This conversation was a milestone, even though they could not have known it at the time...
