In fact I doubt they'd believe people actually smoke tobacco out of them...that's what cigarettes are for (of course Red Man might be even more popular than the cancer sticks). |

I apologize to all. Especially to SapJ who I offended the most.

I am not sure what you think you said that offended me, but I take no offense to anything you've said. |

| ml: I only have two. The Dr. Grabow Wal-Mart special that I recommend to the first poster (and which Benj was pictured with)...and an anonymous briarwood pipe I picked up second hand in London. I really like my anonymous pipe.
There is a sweet picture of my and Benj smoking on the porch somewhere......
I hope to get another pipe (or 3!) on my trip to London in January. I'm really craving a churchwarden.

They tend to get a little juicy when you smoke them often. You can get cheap pipes that are very good. It has been my experience that the cheap ones smoke the best anyway. I have several expencive (sp) ones thart I rarely smoke. It is my understanding that the best briar comes from there. I hope you can find a good one that you like. If not send me the ones that you don't, I smoke them all.

No, but seriously. When I was at home I would get together with my Christian friends and we would smoke a good cigar every once and a while. Now that I'm at university, all my secular friends smoke pot (which I won't touch) and all my Christian friends think smoking is a sin. When I suggested that we get a couple of cigars it took me like 10 min. to convince them that I was serious . Then, they wouldn't go in for it.
So, you say that smoking a pipe is better then a cigar. I will have to get right on that then because I have always wanted to enjoy a pipe. I think I'll stop by a Wal-Mart on Monday or Tuesday and pick one up. | If you buy the tobacco from the dept. store put an apple in the pouch for a while. The tobacco gets very dry and bites thus making you not want to try it again. Oh! just a slice of apple or the core. Try a mild tobacco first.
A story of how I came to smoke the one I prefer. I went to the tobacco shop to buy a pipe and asked the cutest girl behind the counter what she would recommend. She said that when her boss smoked Hazelnut she wanted to follow him all over the store. I bought 5 pounds of it. Though I have never had any cute girls following me around. One can still hope though. What I usually get is that my grandfather smoked a pipe and you remind me of him. How sad.

| I'll see if I can't round up some pics, but my brother and myself, along with a couple friends hollowed out a pineapple and made a bong/hookah hybrid and smoked some lovely pipe weed through. The pineapple added a nice citrusy sweet taste to the smoke; it was quite lovely. |
