Friday is my 21st. I'm going to a local pub to have a Killians (on tap) and a whiskey sour (two things that I *ahem* already know I like). I want to try one more drink after that--suggestions?
Bourbon and Coke always worked for me.

Argentine cigars?

I was just in Argentina and brought home some cigars. Does anybody know if Argentina generally has good cigars? I am very much a noob, they were just a gift that I will partake of with my friends.

I'm not sure mate. So long as you enjoy them, that's the main thing.

Mmmmmm... whiskey sour. You might try a godfather. It's just scotch on the rocks, splash of amaretto. Very nice.

I remember when I used to smoke and drink...and when I added an extra $50 a week to my checking.

That kind of money could buy you all the alcohol and tobacco you'd need for a week! Man, I need a job.

Vershal: have you tried anything before?

My recommendation, is try a good tequila, and never try crap. If it's made by cuervo, don't drink it please cuervo is for getting drunk at college parties. Patron Gold, and Sauza Tres Generations are for having a nice smooth drink. Drink it neat, or on the rocks.

also, i got the last case of http://www.posdsm.com/uploads/images...- Brown Shugga in the area. I feel very blessed tonight.

I'm also trying an "onyx" cigar. I didn't feel like a fuente, and this smelled quite rich. Friend is coming over to split a beer, since 22oz @ 9.9% ABV is a bit much, especially on a work night (that's 6 normal american beers, or four guinesses)

Tried drinking while in the UK. Have had apple schnapps, cider (which I promptly discovered I'm actually allergic to, egads), Tennents Velvet (which...I think was too strong for my first beer ), and red wine. Any suggestions for further exploration?

I'll give you the same suggestions (for beer) as I gave the others. See here

I've only had tequilla a couple of times, and I didn't like it. My drinking experience is pretty limited (hence why I asked for suggestions), but almost any amount of hard liquer makes my stomach hurt.

Girly drinks. I swear, they are good. I love beer, and like most other "manly" drinks enough to avoid the embarrassment of ordering one, but if I'm out with a girl who doesn't want to finish hers, I have no problem downing that daquiri, pina colada, tequila sunrise, or whatever it is she's ordered.

I definitely agree. I know some guys like those hard drinks for their taste, but often it's just because it's the thing to do. Those girly drinks taste really nice, and are usually quite sweet. Rum and coke, it's my favourite.
