| Better late than never to the party i guess..
my grandfather smoked pipes like a crazy man, well, and cigarettes too. I have fond memories of the smell of the tobacco, its very plesant. I skipped cigarettes and went straight for cigars in college. No surprise my favorite cigars are pipe tobacco cigars, and still are to this day (is that kinda wussy in the cigar world?? ah well).
Thinking its crazy to buy a $100 pipe is normal. People i work with spend alot of money at 'head' and 'glass' shops to get insane glass blown pieces to smoke the 'green tobacco', upwards of $300 for a nice table piece.
I smoked grape leaves/seeds/mash out of a hooka once, it was VERY plesant, and had a numbing effect on the brain. The mash smelled so good out of the package my friend couldnt help but to eat a spoonfull of it.... and 7 minutes later he turned green and puked everywhere...
good times..
oh and carcinogens are any substance that is known to cause cancer.

| THIS THREAD IS BY FAR THE MOST AMAZING THREAD ON THIS SITE!!!
No, but seriously. When I was at home I would get together with my Christian friends and we would smoke a good cigar every once and a while. Now that I'm at university, all my secular friends smoke pot (which I won't touch) and all my Christian friends think smoking is a sin. When I suggested that we get a couple of cigars it took me like 10 min. to convince them that I was serious . Then, they wouldn't go in for it.
So, you say that smoking a pipe is better then a cigar. I will have to get right on that then because I have always wanted to enjoy a pipe. I think I'll stop by a Wal-Mart on Monday or Tuesday and pick one up. |

| I am seriously considering buying a hookah. They have some weird flavors of tobacco for those things and they look so pretty.
