Tomorrow I am taking a friend to look at pipes and I stopped by Pipe World to look at prices (gas is precious and I'd rather not drive across town if prices in his desired range are closer).
I obtained some Columbian Mocha and it's just fantastic. I also bought Staghorn and Strawberry Delight, each one enjoyable in its own way. But I tried out the Columbian Mocha tonight while studying and it was fantastic. I had to stop reading for a bit to savor it. What a unique flavor!

Pipe World has much cheaper pipes, and their tobacco is much better. (in my opinion) There's a Pipe World in Highland Mall and I believe there's a really big one in North Cross Mall... but it's been a while, so it may no longer exist there. Quote: |

It's by far my favorite yet.

But my friend was quite happy with his selection. Quote: |

| I got another friend to smoke a bowl of it (and he's not really a smoker). He enjoyed it as well.

Example: Cherry, Vanilla, Honey, etc... If any of these types of words are in the mix's name, it will most likely smell really sweet.
Hope that helps.

| I obtained some tobacco from a local shop (Pipe World) called "Strawberry Delight." It's not an amazing smoke, though it's enjoyable - but the aroma it emits is fantastic. In the bag it smells like "Strawberry Quik" but when smoked it isn't quite so overpowering and has gotten a good response from my roommates regarding the roomnote.

I don't smoke it often but I do enjoy the aroma.

| I've been pondering the purchase of a Dr. Grabow this week. I dont' have the money for an expensive pipe and my options are limited. Is this a decent first pipe? |

Is this a decent first pipe? | It is as decent a pipe as you can buy. They normally run between $15.00 and $25.00. Most of my pipes are Dr. Grabow. You can get them with a filter and without. I recommend you get the filter and only use it if you smoke the pipe often. The best I have found is the Dr. Grabow corncob pipe. It is very inexpensive and a great smoke.

| I have recently obtained an estate Dr. Grabow for next to nothing. I have to clean it up a bit (it's currently being sweetened) but I've heard great things about them as simple but enjoyable pipes. I'd say go for it, Lee. If you decide pipes aren't for you, you haven't spent much cash.

Especially with a beard.
