good point... I suppose we should probably stop polluting it with horrible caffeine from coffee and sodas... and we probably shouldn't eat those donuts either-too much sugar-it will destroy the temple... and all the preservatives in the food down at the chinese buffet are killing us-guess we've got to stick to American food from now on... oh wait... American food has too much grease, that stuff will make the floors in the temple all slippery and stuff... anybody from a big city? well its pretty sinful for you to live there with all the smog, its killing your lungs...

That may be the case, but smoking is a great way to fit in with the cool kids at school, and it usually makes you more attractive to members of the opposite sex. So polluting God's temple seems like a pretty small price to pay. You do want to be cool, don't you?

i have no reason to talk to someone with such sarcasim its not goin to get me any where. i m trying to be more christ like and i dont think he would even bother respnding do a statement like that

and the other dude all i care about as what people think of me is " man he doesnt get into that stuff he s weird but why does he have a great attitude and always smiling(cause i v got eternal everlasting life)"

i eat fish um cand tuna um salad cookies and ice cream when in the mood mainly sandwiches and chicken and steak and meat lots of things but i dont eat at mc donalds or any greice bowl place the only fast food place ill eat at is chick dil ay

I understand that your beliefs tell you that to smoke is wrong. One thing that you might consider is this:

There are two believers. Both of them have accepted Christ, both of them pray and study God's Word daily, both of them put God first in all that they do. One of them is a smoker, one of them is a non-smoker.

If I gather what you are saying to be true, the non-smoker will go to heaven and the smoker will burn in Hell. That not only sounds incredibly judgemental but highly legalistic (much like the pharisees).

oh give me a brake! im not tryin to judge u im tellin you that if you want to obey GODS perfect word then you will treat your body like its a rented one and not plute it im not judging you thats GODS job. but when you tell me right off the bat i m gonna believe you and advize you to stop im not judging you man i love ya and want to help ya.

No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

I think that He would still go to Heaven if he truly walked with God, and was working to beat that sin.

Thats based on the assumption that smoking is a sin, which is a discussion that should be taken to Theology... but, most of the people here believe that smoking is not a sin... I am one of those... but I have decided that it is a sin to smoke convenience store cigars... they just aren't good quality... they smell bad and taste bad (compared to handmade cigars and pipe tobacco)... so don't gripe, get a pipe...
