| Wow... just found this thread. I used to smoke clove bidis once in a while... man were they good. For those who don't know, bidis are imported from India and are made with tobacco, herbs, and aromatic oils and then the mixture (once dried) is wrapped in a eucalyptus leaf and tied with a string.
They come in many different flavors but the clove ones were the best by far. |

I wonder if it meant over the long term... Oh. Oh yeah. Quote: |

I have not seen any of the brands they mentioned in the local shops and I believe they are no longer sold in the US at all anymore... those brands anyhow...
Just go into your local tobacco shop and ask if they have bidis... look for the ones in the orange cone-shaped paper package -- they're the clove ones and are, by far, the best. |

| I've heard cloves aren't anywhere near as bad for you as "regular" cigarettes...in fact, I believe my brother, who smoked (and maybe still smokes) cloves told me that. Anyone know if it's true? |

| The general consensus here seems to be that cloves are far worse for you than regular cigarettes.
I'm interested in buying a pipe. I suppose that now I have all the necessary information. I just have to wait until I get some money. If anyone here pities me and would like to contribute, I'll gladly accept. |

| The more damaging to your health, the better, I say. That's why sometimes I'll purposely sit near smokers in restaurants or put a little paint thinner in my drink. |

I smoked one the other day (for over an hour!) at a Turkish restaurant. I smoked it while drinking proper Turkish mint tea...it was effing great!

And the mint tea is the perfect complimentary beverage. |
