| Most memorable moment. I thought it was a good time to start a new thread on this subject, with the holidays upon us and all the Ho HO Ho and feel good. It was my girlfriends birthday, August of this year. We had been dating for 2 years, and were deaply in love. I decided to do something special, and expinsive. For a hole month I brainstormed on what to do, then I decided to ask the professional: my mom. She suggested a wonderful idea, why not go to a dinner theatre? Sounded good to me, so I booked two seats to see 'Footloose'. I told my angel to be ready on her birthday and to dress nicely, I was treating her out. I picked her up in my fathers '77 MGB convertible (of course with top up, as to not mess up her hair) all spiffied up and smellin' something..er..good. She came out wearing this gorgeous dress that fit her like a glove (oh by the way shes hot too), hair all done up and smellin' something..er..good. I huged her, gave her a kiss and simulteneuosly pulled out a 24k white gold necklace with a 24k white gold ribbon cross pendant, and put it around her neck. She almost cried, she gave me a kiss and said goodbye to her mom. We drove down to the Dinner theatre, the car turning heads as we drove up. A valet opened the door for her, and took the car around back. We looped arms and walked in. We had a blast! The food was good, the show was good, and the company was superb! I put the top down and we drove out on the beach, turned off the egnition, and sat gazeing at the stars. I then drove her home, gave her a godd night kiss, then departed. 1 month of preparing+6 hrs together+$350 later= one happy guy. We have now been together 2 years, 4 months, and 23 days.
Tell your stories, dont forget to say how long you have been together.

| My girlfriend and I had been together for a year. We lived 30 miles apart. On the morning of our aniversary, I bought a dozen red roses at 4:30 am and drove to the place where I asked to date her. It was 5 miles from her home. I set up the final stage of the plan at 5:30 am, and drove to her house. I knocked on her window at 6 am and asked her to go for a drive with me. At 6:30 am, the sun was beginning to crest the cascade mountain range behind us as I led her blindfolded to a walk way 30 feet over a beach on the Puget Sound, facing west. I pulled the blindfold as the sun kissed the sand below, highlighting the roses that I had laid out in a 25 foot heart shaped pattern on the sand. I said happy anniversary, we smooched, I took her home. |

Anyway, shes not really my girlfriend, but the closest I have to one. It was after a harvest party my church did for haloween. We had been running some games their, and after the thing was over, there was like 5 people there. Both of our parents were like 30 minutes late, so I talked to her the whole time. It was the first time I ever talked to her. I wouldn't consider her my girlfriend, but thats probably the only memorable experience I've had involving specific girls.

| This is my most favorite memory ever (see attachment). She made it for me for my birthday/six-month anniversary. It's amazing. It's the coolest guitar strap in the world! She said it took her a month to make, but it must have taken longer, it's so cool!
We wrote letters (yes, snail-mail, not email) for about 4 or 5 months after we met about 15 months ago. I still have them and treasure them .
We have been dating 7 months and 13 days
Soli Deo gloria,
Sean

| Mine would be my proposal. I fixed a candlelight dinner. I fixed my (famous) spaghetti sauce, cooked some pasta, made some stuffed portobella mushrooms, and put on some classical music. We had a lovely dinner and I asked to massage her hands. (she wears a purity ring so I had to sneak it off somehow without her noticing) gave her a hand massage and got on one knee to be closer to her, still without her noticing what was up. I then slid the engagement ring on her finger and asked her to marry me. That is my most memorable moment.
her response of wha did you say? really threw me, and I had to repeat myself 3 xs before she would believe that she heard what she thought she heard...

| I don't have anything extermly romantic yet. It's been 2 months though, and the only thing I can think of is our first kiss. We were at her house playing video games, card games, calling people ect... Then we started decorating her christmas tree. It was kinda a pain because the plugs were al.. okay, that's not important. But anyways, as we were decorating, I found a little piece of paper. She said don't look at it, so of course, I'm gonna act like I'm gonna look at it. She runs up, jumps on my back, and struggle to get it from me. Her friend that is over got it from me, but I could have gotten it back easily, so she stuck it in my gfs mouth. I flipped her onto the couch we looked eachother in the eyes for about 3 minutes, I just pulled the paper out of her mouth and kissed her. So that's about it. |
