| Blade: Trinity ...was awsome.
The first Blade movie was pretty cool and somehow they kept getting better and better. This movie was so epic and so awsome. If you liked either of the other two, I'd be confused if you didn't like this one. Its a keeper. I want to lick it and put it in my wallet. |

| The "professional" movie reviewers hated this movie. Which just gives me one more reason to hate "professional" film critics. They're so detached from what films are all about. They see a movie like this and they just don't get it. Their reviews serve absoultely no purpose. |

| I thought of becoming a professional film reviewer at one point, but when I started looking into and found out you have to have a 4-year University degree on film. Then I found out the criteria they use to review films and I decided against it completely.
I think most people just want to know if a movie is good or not - not if has a good plot line or if the acting is incredible. We, the people, just want to know "will it rock my socks off or not?" That's how I review. I did the movie make me feel not all the other boring stuff.
I'll be going to check it out soon - well I hope so anyway. The first one is still my favorite though. |

| Yeah, this movie was awesome. It delivered on all fronts. Near the end of the movie some of the exchange between heroes and villains was much too crude for my tastes, but overall it was great. It was fun, and it was epic.
Hannibal King was from the Marvel Comics, and they did a great job of bringing him to screen and updating him a great deal. Blade the movie is very different from Blade the comic but not in a compromise way, more in an evolutionary way.
Some of the sub-plots in this film as well as the central plot had me scratching my head and thinking "How do they keep thinking up cool stuff like this?"
Will it win an Oscar? Of course not, it's not trying to. It's not trying to be some overracted pretentious art film. It's a new vampire mythology getting better and better with each installment on the screen.

| Possibly I am the only person on this board that disliked the Blade Sequel. While the first film felt much too close to the violence and gore, I felt the sequel excluded me from some of the shock. Did anyone else feel that?
Also, in the first film, the teeny boppers were thankfully left behind for a mature feeling cast. In the sequel, "cigarette" boy brought attempted "hip 'n' cool" where it wasn't necessary. Does the third follow on the trend of "youthing" the Blade character with thinly written 1 dimensional characters?
I have not seen Trinity yet, as I was so hurt by the lame-ness of Blade Dos. Is the third more of the sequel or original? |

The first one wasn't that gritty and the second one wasn't a hollywood machine. The second one had a slicker style, but that doesn't mean it was a hollywood machine. *pulls knife out of boot* I have no idea what you're talking about with some young fellow making it "hip n cool." The first film had a "hip n cool" fell to it. I think you're giving the first one way too much grit credit. |

We will go back to our prospective corners, view Blade and Sequel, then come back swinging. Deal?
(Oh, just so you know, I own a VHS version of Blade in Japanese) |

| You have to take into account the directors. Every film had a different one with their own take on the franchise. The third, however, was directed by the writer David Goyer, so he directed it to what he saw in his head as he wrote it. I expect this one to be a completely different tone than the first two. |

| This one has a good bit more humour in it. That definately shapes the tone a bit. A lot of it comes from the addition of the Hannibal character. AND NO MATHEW SLOPE, this was not a mere Hollywood ploy to get more money in their pockets. Hannibal is straight from the comicbooks. *stabs matt in the face* |

We go to corners, watch the flims, come back and fight. Jabbing at eachother now does no good. Honest, I mean no ill-will. I loved Blade. |

| I thought Blade Two was awesome. I thought the conceptions were very innovative. Each movie in the series has had its own seperate feel, but they all connect well.
