Can you explain to me why you say this band is a Christian band? NOTHING I've heard by them has indicated that to be true.

Care to give some evidence for this? Otherwise you're just pointlessly lambasting a couple of fine musicians.

Sorry mate, but not only do you have your genres confused (none of those bands are metal), but most of those bands aren't very good. Collide is the worst of the Skillet albums. And none of them are anything like The Who or Led Zeppelin. All my own opinion of course, but then again, whose would it be...

Yeah, Stereo Motion is kind of like a dumbed down Elms. I prefer The Elms.

From this website http://www.deltahaze.com/johnson/Legacy.html

This isn't exactly breaking news.

Well...i really cant say Trustco is a chrisitan band...but i know they do have good lyrics that are christian-like......thats good enough for me.

and for that other guy.....i might have my genre mixed up....but thats what they sound like to me and practically everyone that listens to them in this town (not to mention getting some music websites i go to /poster ive seen and w/e.)

i dont know if you've notice yet but some music website have different genre than others.(it is really stupid how they do that)

and i know none of them are like led zeppelin and the whos...i dont know of any christian bands like them so i just decided to give acouple of example and bands with lots of awsome bass stuff (which was something he wanted to know also that lots of u left out....)

[QUOTE=Tuesdays Child]Zeppelin.. are you kidding? Never.. .. I mean who in or out of Christian music can sing like Robert Plant.. or plays like Jimmy Page, not to mention Bonham and Jones. Rez band rawks hard for that style, and they are certainly edifying, but LZ they are not.

Notice my incredibly obnoxious stance on this.. It's because I myself wish that Christian musicians would have stepped up to the plate a long time ago and ( Since they are playing for the KING ) at least tried to match the ingenuity of their secular counterparts. Save Kansas and a few others though they were unable to signify themselves as "Christian".

I agree with you 100%

I am a bass player and I think that Jars of Clay sounds just a little Zeppleny. I'm not sure about the who though.

Jars of...? Never mind. I'll just close the thread. Please do not revive dead threads from ages past.
