Multi-Platinum and three-time Grammy award winning band, Jars of Clay, garnered a Grammy nomination for its album Who We Are Instead (11/04/2003) as announced this morning by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS).
Dan Haseltine, Jars of Clay lead vocalist, shares, "Receiving a nomination for Who We Are Instead is exciting because it represents the ten year mark for us. It's also significant because we went into the studio with a specific vision in mind, and feel like we reached that goal with the album. With this nod, we're being recognized for a project that we intended to make, and it's very humbling."
The band recently wrapped a national tour and is busy placing finishing touches on a new album titled Jars of Clay – Redemption Songs that releases to retail March 22, 2005.
