| Christian magazines I'm looking for a Christian magazine to read, a literary one like the Atlantic or Harper's Weekly, or a news one like Time and Newsweek. I want sometihng intelligent, and theologically sound. I've looked at Christianity Today, but I wonder if there's other ones. Any suggestions?

| I get first dibs on the person who brings up Breakaway magazine (a stupid magazine made by Focus on the Family for teenage guys). I can't stand that magazine.
Isn't there a magazine called World or something like that that is Christian-based?

~Jon | Yes, I was going to suggest World magazine also. It draws a Christian comparison with Time magazine. www.worldmag.com

| Christianity Today publishes a mag called Books and Culture which is pretty good. Also, there's an excellent literary and cultural journal called First Things that you might want to check out.

| World is an excellent publication. I recommend it, and I am sure there are others here who would, as well. Probably the best in Christian magazine circles. |

| Envoy Magazine is a Roman Catholic publication which, though it is riddled with many of Roman Catholicism's errors, provides some excellent refutation of false theological systems (such as Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Prosperity teaching, the Word of Faith movement (Read: Benny Hinn) etc) www.envoymagazine.com |
