being stuck at home all day....well yeah, that does suck pretty bad.
sports? I play competative volleyball with a bunch of other homeschoolers. But yeah, for the most part, home-schoolers have a harder time playing sports.

As to opportunities to witness... well when Nate was around 11 he was able to witness to a boy about his age and the boy's mom who are Jehovah's witnesses. The only way this happened was that they were part of a homeschooling bowling league we were involved with. Not all homeschoolers are Christians and I can't speak for other homeschool families , but we were involved in a lot of " outside the home" activities where the boys had many opportunities to be a witness.
Sports... well, I'm not sure where you live, but here in the New Orleans area there is recreation baseball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, etc. Its out there if you just do a bit of looking. |

And when your in school you do have more friends because your not just meeting people at your church and stuff like that. |

I live on the same planet you do. There are nonChristians at the grocery, at the mall, at the fast food place, at the bank, online, living next door to me, across the street mowing his lawn as I am getting the mail...
...what was your point again? |

I have never seen a more un-coordinated bunch of people trying to play volleyball than at my homeschoolers' academy. Why is that?!?! It sure makes for a good laugh, though.
For sports, I go to a private high school. That way there is a chance for some actual talent. By the way, as far as sports go, homeschoolers do have an advantage over public/private school kids. We can practice in the morning hours when we normally would be doing school, go to school practices during the daytime, and finish up school in the nightime. At least, that's what I do. |

It stinks to be homeschooled in a small town, I am the only guy teenager at church, the only Christian in our entire neighborhood, and the only sport that our town does that even homeschoolers can join is soccer, and thats not even for my age . Oh we don't even have homeschooling groups here. So homeschooling does stink sometimes...
anywayz, back to the topic and hand, uh...friendo'God you can be in this club also. |
