My friend is writing this poem...and asked for some help on the flow...any suggestions??

Fairytale

Once upon a time
There was a little boy
And a little girl....

Two hearts wrapped together, in their own fairytale world
She was beautiful, sweet with a loving smile
A mind sweet and pure, always loving, in thier fairytale denial
He was strong and faithful, never did he cheat
Always he serves his lady, his queen, oh he cherished the day that fate did have them meet
And for a while all was happy in their land
Serving each other lovingly and sensually, all was going to plan
And then one day...the dreamland, their fairytale did start to break
She was losing the faith, becoming doubtful, powerless he watched his world fall, what he had scaraficed to make
He tried to prove his love, to hold it all together, to prove it would last, but alas...he himself had gone blind
In her pain, she had left the one who always loved her
Left him, in search of another
A more precious world for her to live in, with another shining knight, another fairytale
And there lay our hero, alone and forgotten, a memory of someones past
Just another life like fariy tale
