I have no guys in my class first off.I like this guy who's like 3 and a half years older than me. I don't really know where to go from where I am right now. Any advice?Oh I'm a girl not a guy just in case I was scaring any of you.

My advice is to wait until you're older to consider relationships. I'm 18 and I don't consider myself ready for them.

I'm not looking for like a boyfrieng girlfriend relastionship. I just want to know I fyou have any advice on how to keep a good friendly relationship wihtout going overboard. Because I relly like him and I don't want to loose him as my friend.

Now THAT is a noble question that shows great maturity.

It's difficult. I think the trick is to try as much as possible to avoid focusing on your feelings. Friendships are side by side while relationships are face to face. Don't try to turn it face to face, do things together, be friends but don't focus on the friendship/relationship itself. Have a side by side relationship, not a face to face one.

Yeah that's almost exactly what I mean. Being in contact and being friends is great! There's certainly nothing wrong with that.

If you watch yourself for a while you'll probably notice that you do certain things (though probably subconciously) trying to get closer to him. That's often the stuff that makes staying "just friends" difficult.

I hav egone way over board with this one guy. I couldn't bring myself around to tell him. I was miserable for like3 months. We are good friends now. But I don't want My relationship with Trevor to come to that. It's Terrible. I just want to be friends.

It's about Trevor again though if you don't mind. He's really nice and we get along really well and play catch at our lunch time often. How do I know when I'm bothering him when he is so nice to me that he wouldn't tell me I was bothering him if I asked?

Not sure I can give much of answer to that. It's hard to know what people are thinking or feeling. Very hard.

I think, in general, it's better to be true to yourself in how you act and let people take it is as they choose then in trying to act to fit their expectations.

I think taht is also true. I just want to stay true to my personality without crossing the line. Do think if I accidentally went a little too far I would scare him off?
