Thanks I'll try that soon, Steve.

New question. If I was falling down an elevator from 200 ft and jumped out 2 ft from the bottom at what force would I hit the ground.

P.S. I would have gave you a few friendly smilies but they seem to be broke. This makes me sad.

given that you'd be able to jump out (i'd think you'd be in freefall and thus unable to really move) you'd still hit the ground at nearly the same force as if you were still in the elevator...any way you look at it it's a lose/lose situation.

that's a rather ironically timed question. right now my xdd is sitting in the mailbox waiting to be picked up and shipped to new york state.

i didnt' really like the xdd very much. the sound is good, and the pedal is versatile...maybe too versatile for my tastes. i'm doing an even trade with another guy for a BOSS DD-5. i didnt' really like the built-in tap-tempo on the xdd and am hoping that the external switching on the dd-5 (fs-5u) will be more my style. i definitely recommended the xdd in terms of sound and options...i just couldn't get used to the tap tempo set up.

then again, i also own and love a danelectro PB&J delay (it's one of the minis)...sure it doesnt' have tap tempo, but i've sound for the p&w setting i can usually make a pretty close guess as to where i need to be set on the rate knob...and the warmth of that pedal is unbelievable. i dont' know how it is compared to a real analog delay, but i've been told it's pretty good in comparison.

seriously, the dd-5s on ebay are expensive. i've been told that the one i'm getting is pretty beat up, but as long as it works, i don't really care.

which dano minis do you have?

Well, I'm so gay because I'm stoked about life, and my band, and the fact that God has everything laid out for me and all I have to do it live life. I think that's a pretty great think to be happy about.

what's my beef with Mojo?
1) the fact that he changed his name to "Mojo"
2) the fact that under his influence the Supertones went from being a decent third wave ska act to a rap/rock deal...though the latest album ("Revenge") was a decent listen.

that really about summarizes it all. I don't really have much against him...I just respected him more with his actual name.

"come as you are" by nirvana?

if you're really going for that Nirvana sound then why not go with the pedal the man (kurt cobain) himself used, the ElectroHarmonix Small Clone. I've actually read really great reviews of this pedal in general. it's a really simple pedal, which may be a drawback, as it only have a depth switch (low or high depth i'd guess) and a rate knob.

the only chorus pedal i've really had alot of experience with is the danelectro milkshake chorus pedal...it's decent for what it is, which is a low end product, but i haven't really tested out any other pedals to compare it against. does it work for church and what not...i think so...i'm hopefully going to find out this saturday (the praise team at my church is having a three hour practice so hopefully i'll get to mess around with and work my effects into songs and figure out how i want them set up)
