By the way, exo, there is a body in the US that is both truly Anglican and evangelical and mostly charismatic. The Anglican Mission in America is a missionary movement sponsored by the Anglican Church of Rwanda and the Anglican Church of Southeast Asia, and recognized by 24 of the 36 Anglican provinces, and is committed to the classical Anglican faith. Their ministers are REQUIRED to affirm the historical Creeds and the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion annually, and they are growing faster than the ECUSA is declining. I'm sure your relatives are not interested in changing churches, but if some day they are, you could point them in that direction.

This is not an open advertisement for the AMiA, mind you, but you also won't hear me maligning them as some people in the ECUSA are fond of doing. In my opinion, they're doing awesome things.

I will, though. Only if I'm asked nicely.
