I grew up going to Calvary Chapel Long Beach but don't go there anymore. I have been to many many Calvarys in the area including Big Calvary in Costa Mesa a great many times. Though i have never been to CCAV before. I even considered going to the Bible College in Murrieta for a long while, but that was not in God's plan.

I am going to go ahead and move this on over to our denominational section, since CC's are considered Non-denominational.

Btw, Welcome to CGR guys! Hope your stay is a good one.

I just attended a Calvary Chapel today. It was neat. Nice and simple. I went to the early service, so there was no one there . I went to the youth group a few months ago. Tight. Good stuff.

There's two near the college I'm going to, I'll have to check them out next year.

Good stuff.

In His love,
Sean

Wow, everyone goes to the early service here.

Anyway, yes, I do go to Calvary Chapel...when I actually get enough self-displine to roll out of bed to go...

Sweet

Hey guys nice to hear from ya. I go to the first service at mine too, (starts at 8:00 am.) Then during 2nd service I go to our drama group, which is totally awesome. Tonight (Wednesday) we have our mid-week discipleship group, it's really a great time for fellowship, the Word, and it's just fun hanging out. Just curious if any of you guys have ever heard of Darrell Sparks or Ty King their the pastors here. Oh yeah last week we had a guest speaker, a guy named Dave Wallace from Voice of the Martyrs. He showed some slides of Christian's being tortured for their faith, Really powerful stuff makes me thankful that I live in a country where we have the freedom to worship wherever we want.

Aight Guys later

Seeing as how you supply us with 2/3 of our praise music, OK.

I've never been to a Calvary Chapel... but recently found a CSN station that comes in very well from my home and car and work. I love it! The teaching is AWESOME - actually almost comparable to the teaching at my church. Almost. Anyhow, I really appreciate listening. I especially like a "Pastor Bob" that's on at 7:30 CST... not sure where he is, but it's good stuff...

Officially, my church is Calvary Chapel of Truckee (CA). My Pastor, Brian Larson, is on CSN once a week.

I spent a year at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta. While I was there, I went to a few different Calvary Chapels. Costa Mesa, Living Hope (Huntington Beach), San Diego.. I'm sure there are a few more. My instructors were all from Calvary Chapels as well. CCBible Fellowship in Temecula, CC Living Hope, CC Moreno Valley, CC Juliet... it's a long list. So, I have been under a whole lot of Calvary pastor's teaching. Also, I used to do audio editing for Chuck's Costa Mesa services, so I have not only heard most of his bible survey classes, but a lot more.

So... yep.

i'm new and i think this site is so cool

Hey, i just found this site and i think it's soooo cool. I've been going to Calvary Chapel for about 13 years. i first started going to one in miami but we left and looked for another church. We couldn't find one so we went to Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale with Pastor Bob Coy. I've been going there for almost 8 years now and I love it!!! it's really big but i've been there as it's grown so it's kinda cool. I think there's like 25,000 people.
