Somehow today we won the UCSD Sun God Battle of the Bands.

For you non-UCSD students (which would be all, if not most of you), this is a pretty big deal. By winning, we earn the opening slot at the UCSD Sun God Festival/Concert in May. I'll expand on why that is a big deal once I find out what that means in more specific details.

Well, last year's headliner was Ludacris. This year's hasn't been announced yet

Not MY favorite band yet , but pretty blessed good. To bad your on the left coast, I would love to play and sing with you guys. You sound like your having a blast! That is great. Oh yeah, congrats on you B of B win, and the accompanying gig. To the winner belongs the gig I guess Have fun. Went to your MYSpace, but not the band website yet. I will though.

I wish we were playing with Soundgarden instead of the bands we're playing with

Boysetsfire is okay. No Use For A Name, if I recall correctly, isn't half-bad...I seem to recall Bedouin Soundclash being okay as well.

From what I've listened to them, Boysetsfire is terribly generic. Their stuff reminds me of Further Seems Forevers 2nd album, which isn't really a good thing. Bedouin Soundclash is the only band we're playing with that has a sound that doesn't seem overly generic to me.

Hopefully it won't be as bad as it seems like it will be. At least we're playing first so it's not like we have to stay.

So...We play with My Chemical Romance tonight and by "played" I mean that we played at 5pm, and they played at 1030.

I'm tired...maybe more on this later...or maybe it'd be easier to answer questions so I don't have to think as hard
