it's a four track demo:
1) Let's Do it Right
2) Stops Signs
3) She Says
4) The Right Man
it's sorta old in that we don't do 'The Right Man' anymore. we may eventually rewrite it and bring it back though.
also, sometime before 2006 we'll hopefulyl get with a friend of our who went to school to learn how to record and have him record us. i've heard some of his band's stuff and it's pretty clean sounding.

| woo! loving it. Your music is incredibly fun. You'd be a great example to some of the friends of mine who take it way too seriously. I hope to hear the new stuff as soon as it comes out.

We've just been playing shows when we can for the meantime. It actually hurts me to hear that people like the recordings now, because they're so old and we've become ALOT tighter as a band. too bad you can't see us live soon (unless you're in the san diego area...)

That would be ever so much better. However, I live in Elmira, New York and san diego would be a problem And yes the recordings could be a lot better but I have all the confidence that you'll come out with something awesome when you get this new project started

| awww yeah...
so we still haven't recorded, but at our last show the soundguys recorded the set and gave us the CD. www.myspace.com/yourfavoriteband
the song is "Never"
it has a bass intro and solo (that's me) but unfortunately they didn't have the bass in the recording mix (mostly guitar/vocals and some drums) so it might be hard to hear.
my bass solo is sorta weak...the result of just making it up on the spot. but yeah...new song...throw me/us some feedback.

| YFB is really tired.
i really hope ryan, adam and leo (our producer type guy) are finished up with the vocals...i came home early because:
1) i don't sing
2) i know very little about singing
3) i have to get up early to lead worship in the morning (as in getting up in 5 hours).
but recording was so rad today...more details to come soon.

| ok...so here's the shimmy of what went down on Saturday...complete with a timeline:
7AM: Show up at Cornerstone Church Poway to begin setting up
730AM-9AM: Setting up the recording equipment and the drum mics (and Ryan and I going to get breakfast for everyone at Stater Bros)
930AM-1230PM: Record tracks 1-10 on the drums
1230PM-130PM or so: Tear down the drums, set up the guitar and bass in separate rooms for simultaneous recording
130PM-430PM: Record tracks 1-10 on guitar and bass
430PM-5PM: Tear down guitar and bass stuff, put all of the recording gear in the production room (the room with the computer and such)
5PM-6PM: Hang out, relax, EAT DINNER
6PM-945PM: Go to the Movies! We saw "Chicken Little" and afterwards movie hopped over to "Zathura" (Leo...our mixing and mastering guy wanted to see them)
1PM-1045PM: Record two acoustic guitars, vocals and bongo for track 11
1045PM-1230AM: Record vocals
1230AM: I go home (i wanted to stay, but things to do)
1230AM-2AM: finish the vocals
So the album is in the mastering stage now. We're still going to need some money to actually get it printed. I think it's going to run us around $600-$700 to get 1000 copies. I'll post up the tracklist when it's finalized...For now I'll say that the album has one unreleased track (though we will probably play it at the show this friday) and one acoustic version of a previously released song.

| This band is not very good. They don't have what it takes. They also sing dumb songs about goats. And the walrus is crying.
