#197 | | Algebraic! | I'm only posting here to bump this back up to page one...
just kidding.
YFB is starting to pick up some shows, well at least we picked up a couple over the last two weeks and have one tomorrow as well. It's been nice to get to play shows again, although for one of them I was sick. That wasn't enjoyable.
In other news, I started a web project for music, art, media, whatever reviewing called Everything is Genius. It's on Myspace at http://myspace.com/everythingisgenius and the actual reviews are going on Wordpress.
Right now we're looking for albums and demos to review. Contact us at everythingisgenius@gmail.com or via Myspace if you're interested. I'd love to review the music that's being made by CGR's members. |

That's the place where we got ours. I thought they were a pretty good place to deal with. |

#200 | | Algebraic! | Man...haven't posted here in awhile.
We went and recorded a couple songs with a friend of ours a few weeks ago. I have no idea when those will be finished. I did upload some new tracks on our myspace recently. They are demos that we recorded during practice a few months ago of a couple of our newer songs. |

#201 | | Algebraic! | As of this month, Your Favorite Band will be taking it easy for the next year. Adam wants to take some time to pursue his own music and put out his second album as well as play shows with a local band called Red Pony Clock.
We may pick up a few shows this year if the right thing comes along, but the plan right now is to next the next year off completely. |

#203 | | Algebraic! | Last Friday evening a taping we did for a local cable access program finally aired. I ripped a DVD copy we got of the show and uploaded the songs to youtube. You can check them all out here |

The camera stuff...well...the show is known for applying off the wall effects and what not. Our videos are actually not as affected as I expected. |

| There was most certainly some funky stuff going on with those effects, and the camera angles weren't very good either... however, I really liked those couple songs that I hadn't heard before...

Last show? You guys aren't playing anymore? | "Giant " is probably one of the tougher songs (for me) that we did, but I agree that it's super catchy.
But no, we aren't playing anymore. Adam has a new band called Adams and Eves that features music that he had written over the last couple years (and some that he has written more recently). Ryan and I have a new project going tentatively called The Morning Glass. We are scheduled to play our first show this Friday. |

| Currently it either has to be Jon Foreman or Mae.
