As Day of Fire releases its highly-anticipated Oct. 26 debut, its first radio single "Cornerstone" storms up the charts, securing the No. 1 position on CRW's Rock chart this week, while also moving up to No. 8 on the R&R CHR chart. Alongside strong radio presence, the industry's newest rockers continue winning audiences on the road as the featured act on Third Day's "Live Wire" tour this fall.

Adding to the buzz, Day of Fire garners significant media attention interviewing recently with outlets including CNN, The 700 Club, Goodnews in Atlanta and TV U, an extension of the Radio-U Network in Columbus, Ohio. (Air-dates to follow)

The production for the Day of Fire album assembled some of the biggest names in rock music today, produced and mixed by Scott Humphrey (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Rob Zombie) and featuring Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction) on bass, drummer Gary Novak and guitarist Phil X, (Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Andrew W.K), along with Matthew Nelson (Nelson) on back-up vocals.

Day of Fire's Joshua Brown was previously signed to Island/Def Jam Records, fronting the mainstream act Full Devil Jacket and touring with bands including Creed, Fuel and Nickelback. Brown quit FDJ after surviving a heroin overdose and committing his life to God while in rehabilitation. He met guitarist Gregg Hionis in his hometown of Jackson, Tenn., and the two co-wrote the Day of Fire debut.
