Roper - Brace Yourself For the Mediocre

The sound is a lot alike, because Reese wrote many of those songs for Guerilla Rodeo. When they went their separate ways, he took his songs with him.

This is a great CD. Better than most similar stuff I've heard. Although a lot of the songs do sound similar, the outstanding songs "Hello Lamewads," "Amplify," "Quicksilver," and "In Excelsis Deo" more than redeem this album.

This is a pretty good CD. I like "Amplify" quite a bit.

I liked it for the lyrics. Lyrically, 'tis all right. Musically, it pretty much sucks. I gave it a 7.

I thought it was the other way around (especially when you know Roper has such writing talent).

Gosh, I did not even think of that. heh.

I honestly think the mediocrity came out of carrying material over from GR.

There are a couple of songs that I absolutely love on this disk now.

Ehh, a 7. However, it is strange to hear Reese in a punk/powerpop band. It's growing on me.

I have not heard stuff like this in a while it is true pop punk techno stuff it rocks. I mean I have not heard something that breaks so far from the normal pop punk genre.

I LOVE THIS CD!!!!My favorite songe are You're With Stupid, Say Sayonara, and You're still the one. Is Reese doing anything new, now that FIF and Roper broke up? if he is tell me!!!!

p.s. he will be at SoulFest 2007 it is "Reese Roper and his 5 Iron Friends"

I've heard that there may be another Brave Saint Saturn, but I really don't know.
