Perogies

Ok, who has cooked/eaten perogies before?

'Cause I'm looking for some creative ideas for fillings.

One of my favorite fillings is just plain old potato and onion. I have had ones with meat in them, but the vegetarian variety is still the one I prefer.
Also, the best way too cook them is to boil them first, and then to brown the outside in a frying pan, preferabaly the pan you use to carmalize the onions you're going to serve with them.

Yeah, anything besides potatoe seems odd. But potatoe, cheese and bacon seems very tastey.
