I want the guitar which, combined with my amp, produces the ideal tone that I imagine in my head. I don't know which one this is, but it's the one I dream about.

My custom made creation... At least, I would if I had the cash

1” thick mahogany topped with a 0.5” 5A quilted maple bookmatched top, carved arch-style top

Birds-eye maple neck, Fender C shaped
Matching maple headstock w/quilt maple veneer, angled back 13 deg.
Brazilian rosewood fingerboard
24 fret neck, 25.5” scale length, 12”-16” radius
Fret spaces scalloped after 12th fret
Bolt-on neck with all-access joint
Body black/green/blue 3 tone sunburst, black dyed headstock top w/ white logos
Neck w/ natural satin finish
Cream binding around body
Vine-style full-fretboard inlay, in Abalone

Schaller locking tuners (Gold)
Wilkinson Tremolo (or similar), installed with GraphTech GHOST saddles (Gold)
Gold pickup rings
Earvana nut
Jumbo frets
Schaller Straplock-ready buttons (Gold)
Gold dome knobs with abalone caps
Gold square jack plate, LP style

Seymour Duncan JB in bridge position
Seymour Duncan Jazz in neck position
Fender Noiseless in middle position
GraphTech GHOST Acoustiphonic & Hexpander preamp
Push/Push “mid/dark” switch pot for GHOST preamp
GHOST Quick Switch
GHOST Hexpander volume
StewMac Super Switch w/ this wiring...

3P3T mini switch to split coils in neck and bridge pickups
DPDT mini switch to reverse phase of middle pickup
Master Volume for mag pickups, w/DPDT push/pull to split bridge and neck pickups
EMG-VMC and EMG-BTC tone circuits
Stereo phone jack to Acoustiphonic Preamp
MIDI Volume
Midi jack
AXON synthesizer
COMPLETE INTERNAL SHIELDING
which basically turns into this:

And the finished product will look something like this:

I'm debating making this into a neck-thru thinline version... It would look sweet either way...

Geez Rainer, that reminds me of Cheshire and his Utah.
My dream guitar would be a pre-2000's Gibson Les Paul Standard, a PRS McCarty Standard, a Fender HSS or HH Standard Strat, a Fender HS or HH Tele, or something of the sort.

My dream guitar will be appearing in the not so distant future. A true jazz guitar, a Gibson ES137. In bluesberry burst of course.

Hey bro, how are you doing? Me, not so good. Our other half of central air is now out. I'm gonna have to sell gear to stay afloat... I need some prayers here bro. So much for the Classic...
