| I think the music is much better. The lyrics are alot weaker, with basically no Christian message. I totally disagree with 3 Leaf Loser:
"You don't need direction to find your way, just listen to yourself"
Its not horrible, but its a rebellious song, IMO. Kind of rejecting God. They are an aweome band.

| Quite an improvement over the self-titled album.
Pros:
Each tune has something in it to set itself apart from the rest of the CD.
The "real" 12 Stones is on the CD. Meaning they spent more time working on it.
Some nice riffage in there.
Drumming is great. First time we really get to hear Aaron, since he wasn't on the first album.
Honest lyrics.
Cons:
Not enough guitar solos.
Wish it had a couple more songs on it.
More screaming would have been nice too.
Oh, and I could have lived without the solo on 3 Leaf Loser.
Other than that. 8.4. Solid follow-up. If they mature as musicians and writers some more, they could get pretty good. |

| I really like Photograph...
To me the mixdown of the CD doesn't have the vocals turned up loud enough...Every time I play this CD I have to turn down the bass and middle so I can hear his voice(and my bass and mids aren't high mynde you)

| It wasn't as good as their debut but this CD is still a phenomenal listen. I love the song "Stay." That track alone makes buying this CD worthwhile. |

| 12 Stone's softmore release, there was a lot of hype put behind this one, and I'm glad to say it was worth it. Even tho there is nothing too new here, what they do is sounding more mature than before. My fave songs are Far Away, and Photograph, I give it an 8

| I love the band, but I definitely like their first CD better. Far Away, Stay, and Photograph are great songs, but nothing really stood out to me when I first listened to it. ....7 worthy.

| The guitar work is better on this CD. The sound at times reminds me of Nickelback and at other times it reminds me of 3 Doors Down. This CD's sound did not remind me as much of Creed as the last one did. However, I agree that the lyrics are not as good on this CD as they were on the self-titled CD. The lyrics did seem to leave out God a little bit. However, it wasn't bad to the point of throwing it away. It would be cool, however, if they returned to their old lyrics, but kept the sound they have now.
