| Anyone interested in law? I'm planning on majoring in Philosophy either at UNC at Chapel Hill or UNC at Asheville (I'll find out in the spring), and after that I'm planning on going to law school, maybe at Chapel Hill but I'm really not sure at all about that. Is anyone else considering going to law school? Has anyone already gone into law that could offer some good advice?
Ben

| It's something I've thought about myself. The thing that turns me off is that I don't want to become a paper pusher... I would hate that. That's why I've decided Medicine would be my best bet because of what I love and how much I love people interaction on a deeper level.

| I plan to attend college majoring in Criminal Justice. Maybe if I am feeling the calling I will go into law school. That is a big maybe.

| I would love to go into law and I've been told I should but being already 22 married and planning on having kids in the next few years I just don't think that's the best idea for me. I'm still praying about it but I think the Lord wants me to continue my path to becoming a psychologist.

| At the moment I think my plan is to go to law school, but I'd like to go into politics rather than become a lawyer. I've kind of gotten the impression that most lawyers spend all their time filling out paperwork.

| Haha. i'm taking Law, Psychology and English Literature next year, and I definitely don't plan on being a paperpusher. I think lawyers here may have a better time than lawyers in the States, cause we know heaps and paperpushing is the smallest part of their jobs. I guess that it depends on which kind of lawyer you want to be...i'm sticking my lot in for child advocacy, but i'm guessing property law would have stacks of paperwork.
advice: get your student loan/allowance sorted way before you start!!

Ben | When most people think of law school they think of being a lawyer, but law school can also benefit you if you're interested in being as a law enforcement officer. I don't know which one you're contemplating, lawyer or officer? |
