Acclaimed folk-pop artist Bebo Norman secures the No. 1 spot this week on both Radio & Records and Christian Radio Weekly's Inspirational charts with "Disappear," the first single from the new album, Try.

As his new music tops the charts, Norman continues to connect with fans on the road this fall headlining the "Bebo Norman Fall 2004 Tour," featuring special guests Bethany Dillon and Jason Morant, playing 40 cities through November in support of Norman's latest release.

Performing independently for three years before signing to Essential Records in 1999, Norman has earned the distinction of being a premier lyricist with accessible music and a personable stage presence. Norman's popularity has grown exponentially with the release of his four label titles, Ten Thousand Days (1999), Big Blue Sky (2001), Myself When I Am Real (2002) and Try (2004). Boasting a fiercely loyal following, Norman draws standing-room-only audiences across the country and continues to garner significant media attention, including the covers of CCM Magazine, Christian Single, Premier, Believe and Release. Norman's song "Our Mystery," recently appeared on the WB's popular hit TV show "Smallville" starring Tom Welling, and in the promotion of UPN's new series "Kevin Hill" starring Taye Diggs and Michael Michele.
