Yeah.
They've been the same on every other bagua drawing, though... odd. The one I used before is gone from the Wikipedia article.

so what does this tell all of us? why is Dharma using a feng shui diagram as their logo? how do they know each other these characters properly coorsponded with these elements? Did Dharam cause the plane crash? (i'm thinking they did), but how and why?

Not sure. But as Mark pointed out, in that drawing with the initials, the trigrams are different than on the Dharma logo and the bagua.

I've noticed this show is good at that.

Shannon helped Sayid and was just wanting to help.

My guess is the others are not dharma, but dharma test subjects gone wrong

my guess is that they were part of an experiment without knowing it.

Perhaps...but still...HR lined up with wealth? JS lined up with health? CP Lined up with fame? JL lined up with knowledge...etc...

Yeah they could've observed them from the island, but it seems like the characters were destined to be on that plane, and if so then how did dharam know who each one was and would be needed for whatever experiment?

I have a feeling that doesn't mean much to them.

Also...I remember reading a little exerpt from an interview with the producers. They dispelled some theories and such, but one thing they did say was that the plane definitely crashed on purpose. It wasn't just an accident were the characters just so happened to land on this uncharted island with wierd things going on.

I hope I can find where I read that.
