| Well, you've found some good stuff in Norma Jean, The Agony Scene, Underoath, and Pedro the Lion. You're on the right track. I would further recommend Emory, The Blamed, Blindside, Crash Rickshaw, Lucerin Blue, Project 86, and Stutterfly. |

| Uhh... weird. That is a very general genre of music... so...
Lovedrug (don't know if they are Christian)
Kevin Max
Copeland
Not much "weird" Christian music, seeing as most of it is what you described, generic crap not involving talent.
For screamo I'd suggest The Beautiful Mistake and Dead Poetic. Hope you like this!

| Hmm, before I start to mention some band with links to their websites and samples I wanna be sure that you come back and check this thread. Too many times I have made long posts with links and all, but the ones who asked seemingly never came back or at least didn't post in their threads again.
And I'd like to know if you like other "real" Heavy Metal besides Dream Theater (don't know the other two you mentioned). Do you also like talented mellower music (Prog-Rock)? Do you also like heavier Heavy Metal than Dream Theatre? |
