| Possibly the most honest words spoken in this presidential race:
From the transcript of the third debate:
SCHIEFFER: Mr. President, let's get back to economic issues. But let's shift to some other questions here. Both of you are opposed to gay marriage. But to understand how you have come to that conclusion, I want to ask you a more basic question. Do you believe homosexuality is a choice?
BUSH: You know, Bob, I don't know. I just don't know.
That speaks volumes to the integrity of a leader. I say this while not being a supporter of this president. Finally some honesty from the politicians! |

Am I the only one who caught that? | Ah, so it wasn't my imagination... No one else in my family caught it.
Did anyone else catch, in the first debate, when Kerry said that daily terrorists were bringing WMDs across the border and blowing people up?

Am I the only one who caught that? | ROFL! That is freaking awesome. To be fair, though, I wouldn't even want to hear what kind of idiocy would spew forth from my lips if I was participating in an oral, spontaneous debate. |

| Unfortunately, I have to counter it with dozens of lies. With his claim that he's never said he wasn't thinking about BinLauden (to the point of calling Kerry a liar for saying so), to his inability to admit he's made any mistakes (other than "some appointments"), to his reneging on his promise to exaust all non-millitary means before invading Iraq.
"I don't know" is actually the smart political answer. It doesn't alienate either group. I have no idea if it's what he believes or not. |

It was finally a relief that we were not lied to again. That's all. Smart politically or no it finally showed some concession of thought. Again, I think this guy is full of it and I cannot trust him to lead this country any furthur. I will add that it is sad when the most honest statement, in my mind, that he has made is "I don't know"! |

I will respond to my own post here! Let me clarify after reading my post in light of JerryLove's reply. I have a tendency to be a little over excited sometimes when I post. Reading back I see this would lead even myself to think that I think this president stands with loads of integrity. I will edit myself and say that that is not what I find true at all. Just the one "I don't know" was it. Sorry for the over zealous post. I have mentioned to others here on the side that sometimes my mouth outruns my brain! Sorry to appear as a "flip flop"! Don't you just love the knew phrases and titles that are coined during times such as this. How about "hanging chad"? |

| This political race is looking more and more stupid. What a great time to start my voting.
