and you think kerry is less full of it?

Bryan> You honestly think Bush has made no mistakes?

A leader, especially one who has presided over a term as troubled as this one, who can't admit to any mistakes is about as credible as a Christian televangelist who won't admit to any sins.

Uhhhhhh...that's NOT a bad quote. People from the Middle East are going into countries like Canada and Mexico and entering the US from there. That's why border security has been a hot issue.

That's not necessarily a contradiction either. It can be a fact that someone is alleged to have done something, just as it is a fact that OJ Simpson was alleged to have killed his wife and Ron Goldman. Kerry is pointing out that it is disturbing that this situation could be happening due to the unwatched nature of our borders.

But yes, Kerry puts way too many clauses into his sentences, emasculating whatever power they originally might of had.

"There is a clear difference between President Bush and me: you will always get the truth from me, in good times and in bad times. And I will never mislead the American people. The President has not met that standard."

That's because I only listed three. He also campaigned saying he wouldn't allow the patriot act. He also said there were WMD in Iraq. There's two more. But I'm not really here to list the dozens for your amusement.

when did he say he wasn't thinking about Bin Laden?
Late 2001 / Early 2002. You'll find links to the video and transcripts of the press conference with relative ease if you look.

Bush has made mistakes?!?!? I don't think so
That comment stand on it's own. I pray that some day stupidity will become painful.
