101 Reasons I'm Glad to Be an Episcopalian/Anglican

I found this quote from my former priest in Tennessee. I thought it was fantastic, so I thought I'd share.

Quote:
"Episcopalians and really Anglicans in general have not had many well-known theologians. Maybe we've been too busy admiring the scenery."
~ Rev. Martha Stern
Perhaps this could be the "101 Reasons I'm Glad to Be an Anglican/Episcopalian" Thread?

In our new church plant in New Albany Ohio we've had new people say they kept coming becase we had the best coffee.

The nice thing about an episcopalian new church plant is that there is no one to say how much better the old one was....

Ha, well I do appreciate the theological elbow-room and I love the sense of balance between doctrine and love, at least among the orthodox.

I appreciate the high level of intelligence that the average episcopal church has over the average ____ church in America. I appreciate the liturgy, the balance between the Reformation and Catholicism; that Geneva + Rome (with welcome influences from Byzantium) = Canterbury.

The downside is, that often enough, acceptance comes at the price of the gospel and ecclesiastical discipline throughout the Communion. These praises are referring to historical Anglicanism, not the revisionist sh!t that is prevalent today.

Stoles are just fruity. Seriously though, I will be very honored to one day, Lord willing, to wear a cassock. I will be one of those nerds in seminary who wears it all the time, to every class, not just chapel.

There's communism and socialism in Texas? That must explain the massive amount of CGR users that are from that place. It's a commie plot.
