That elusive U2, Chris Tomlin high guitar sound

Can someone please educate me as to how to play the chords and as to what technical equipment settings are needed to get the high guitar part that is used in so many songs these days? I hope you know what I'm talking about...if not I can tell you it's used on ALOT of songs- for instance on
" Your Grace Is Enough" from the new album. Thanks in advance for your help!!

For tone you'll want chorus, delay and revereb. There are various ways to get it. You don't necessarily need all 3. Delay definately helps though.

Obviously there are lots of different choes being used, but for starters, you can just take all your favorite open or bar chords, play them high on the neck and just play the 3 or 4 high strings. ....these also make for great ska chords.
