im just curious if theres any other fellow musicians from maryland..it seems to b a rather non MD crowd here lol

I'm from Maryland... But I wasn't a musician there... And I'm in Florida now... So I guess I'm no help.

my wife and her family are from Hagerstown, I commute there a lot for visits from Harrisburg... they have a great shop down there, I think it's called Carpenters, that I love stopping in at from time to time.

Anyone familiar with Hagerstown? Do they have any good clubs or places for a Christian metal band to play?

Im live in maryland But i live in salisbury about a half an hour from OC and the christian music scene over here is goin great. theres a few really good christian bands startin around here if ne one live in salisbury or aorund it post a reply

yeah you live right off 81, I drive by you on my way from Harrisburg to the in-laws in Hagerstown. my wife has a good friend down around there, she and her husband are youth pastors at a church in that area, and work at some camp there in the summers. the name escapes me, though.

Are you a guitarist?? You aren't so far away from me. I am in Linthicum.
I am the music director for the contemporary service at Linthicum Heights United Methodist church. We have a praise band that plays each sunday morning at 9:40am. Our rhythm guitarist is leaving for seminary in August. I am looking for a replacement. I need a guitarist who is a fast learner and experienced. We practice one night a week and usually learn a new song each week to be played on Sunday. We play contemporary praise and worship music and songs from bands like Third Day and Casting Crowns.

yea im a guitarist but i really dont feel like drivin up to linthicum lol sorry thats like a good 45-50 min drive for me

I was born in Salisbury, but since I don't live even in MD anymore, I'm no help.

I live in Gaithersburg. No offense, but I don't think my parents would appreciate people showing up, so I won't tell you exactly where Have you guys heard Inertia? The opened for David Crowder in maryland. They are an awesome indie band. Check them out at PureVolume.
