In a little bit I'll be going out to McDonalds with a few friends, and I'm smiling because I've sure been lusting after a good burger since reading Danny's blog lately.

I just made it through my 'big debut!!!'

OK, not that exciting, i've played in front of people before (albeit very shakily,) but I just did a song in front of basically my whole college, and it was an original too! I'm just really thankful I had somebody praying for me the whole time, because I wasn't even that nervous!
I actually was able to pick the song, since I usually fingerpick cause I get too nervous up front, even though I pick fine when I'm by myself and like the sound better for some songs, including this one!

so I was basically like, OK God, either You're going to help me play this song for You and help me do it right, or it's going to sound reaally, really bad... then I proceeded to clip my right hand nails so it would be really weird to fingerpick if I wanted to. yeah... I hope that's good use of faith and challenging God. anyway, God really helped me out, and everybody said it sounded really good.. but.. yeah.. God rocks, and I'm smiling.
