My dad said I should buy the acc slowly, and get a better guitar, and just get what I need. Would I really need strap locks, if I am just standing there playing and like, moving around?

wish list:

to know the harmonic minor scale all over the neck but not turning into malmsteen

to totally understand the phrygian, lydian, and mixolydian modes

to develop my vibrato

to develop MEAN pinch harmonics

i think that'll do for just christmas... :P

I updated the list of stuff I am buying, also, what tool(s) do I need to change strings? Could you list them off (try to find them all on musiciansfriend.com) and look for the cheapest but bestest tool(s). I only got $42 left too spend (if I buy the stuff I listed off in my previous post)

Instead of paying 50 bucks for that amp, go to your local guitar dealer and get a Samick electric. Much better than the Silvertone.
