Lightbulb

I've got a Washburn Batamn XB-100,it serves me well, sounds decent, paid $200 for it,you might want to look at OLP,I heard pretty good things about them as well. Also check out Musician's Freind catalog,or go to www.musiansfreind.com and check the price of Rogue basses. The LK200B model lists $119 4 strings, while the 5 string model, the LX205B goes for $129. They have other models to choose from, and I've heard good things about these basses.Sure, they're not Fenders,or other well known basses, butfor these prices will get you on your way,and they're better then what a pawn shop special will get you.

Personally, I would stay away from Rogue.
