For the second year in a row, MercyMe has been nominated for an American Music Award in the Category of Favorite Contemporary Inspirational Arist. Nominees for the 32nd annual "American Music Awards," were disclosed Tuesday. The 19 awards will be presented during a three-hour special on the ABC Television Network, Sunday, November 14, 2004, 8-11 PM (Eastern and Pacific Time). The special will emanate from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California and be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
Nominations for the "American Music Awards" are in eight categories -- Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip-Hop, Adult Contemporary, Latin Music, Contemporary Inspirational and Alternative Music.
