Eye contact with animals
do you guys [and girls] think that it is interesting that animals make eye contact with you when you try and talk to them?. i know like dogs are man's best friend in all but cats? cats are the most up themselves animal but yet stey still make eye contact with ya. do birds?
i dont think that fish do, at least not goldfish. maybe its saying something tgthat i can figure out the body language of a cat better than that of the same speices of what im part of.

My dogs look at me when I talk to them, but it could be because I've trained them with words and hand-signals. I've never noticed this with any other animals (though I haven't exactly been looking).

hmm, yes. interesting thread. cats do look at you when talking to them.

yes, my cat gives me eye contact. and you can tell when he's mad, because he will do everything BUT look you in the eyes.

I've seen a few cats give eye contact, which is funny. But what I find funnier is the fact that my rabbit does it when I talk to him too.
