My cats make eye contact all the time! Usually, they can stare down my brothers. They know how to get what they want. But I know how to give them what I want and make them think it's what they want.

Nya,ah,ah. (That's supposed to be an evil laugh)

Acts 1:8 -- But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye sahll be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Mark 16:15-18 -- And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall hlay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and, until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

I've seen a few cats give eye contact, which is funny. But what I find funnier is the fact that my rabbit does it when I talk to him too.

i dont think that fish do, at least not goldfish. maybe its saying something tgthat i can figure out the body language of a cat better than that of the same speices of what im part of.
My pets do that all the time, but only for few seconds, they stop when they know they won't get any food out of me

One of my hens stares at me when I pet her on the neck. Does it count as an eye contact?

My goldfishes make eye contact with me and I'm sure they're saying this "Give us food, give us food"

Okay it's all good.
Wow, that's a good word of advice. I will never look a weasel in the eye. Ever.
I now have a cat of my own and boy does he look at me when I talk to him.....except when he knows he's in trouble.

My late cat would crouch down and try to creep up on me most times I made eye contact, the psycho.
