Question Favorite drummer?
I don't see this anywhere: Who do you think is the best drummer? Who is your favorite?



For me its Danny Carey from Tool for both questions.

not sure about the best, but my favorite is definatly Mitch Mitchell from The Jimi Hendrix Experience. what a great player...

Yeah, Danney Carey is an awesome drummer, definitely the best of that style in my view (and maybe of all styles, I dunno). I'm not sure who my favorite drummer is, but I'll think about it...

I've seen a few videos online of Terry Bozzio playing... he's pretty good. I like the way he uses all 10-15 of his toms! It's so cool!

Anyway, I think y'all could probably guess my favorite.... drum roll please.......... David Carr! Third Day!

I guess my fav is Carr too...I dunno if he's the most talented drummer out there, but he is a great drummer and the band he plays for ROCKS!!!

I would definitely have to say David Husvik of Extol. Ive seen em play live and the guy is awesome!

oh yeah, I cant remember his name, but the guy from sonic flood is awesome. He does this crazy drum solo during their set.

Bill Bruford, Mike Portnoy (awesome clinic), Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, Dennis Chambers (another awesome clinic), and lots of other guys. I like Carey's playing, I just can't get into Tool very much. I like some of it, I just can't listen to alot of it. I know it's more than one, but I couldn't choose just one!

I really like the drummer from PAX 217. He's a young guy, too, but his drum beats really groove.

as far as non-christian music goes, lars from metallica and alex van halen have to be the 2 best i can think of. christian musci would be, steve brewster a session drummer, but he's more than awesome, alex from project 86 and a guy named jeff quesenberry....oh wait.....thats me!!!
