| Back To The Basics Well as you can probably tell, I am new here. Took me a while to figure out what a BLOG was even though I have posted in a few already. So here goes
You can call me donnie, wwjc, walkwjc, hey you, or whatever. I turn 30 ancient yrs old in feb but a am a teenager in Christ. I am so blessed to have found these pages and the inspiration and fellowship they bring to my life. I have a great little church but it is small with few musicians but I feel led there. I pray for growth.
I play an acoustic Seagull six string and love christian rock. My friend introduced me to Third Day and Casting Crowns and now I love Mercy Me, Paul Boluach(i spelled it wrong)Among Thorns, and a ton of others. I haven't posted much yet but my fingers are warming up. I love theology and apologetics, although both can be very deep and confusing. Thank God I can always go back to the good old scripture and find peace and piece of mind after reading some of the posts in apologetics. :
Well ya'll do some postin for me so my little letter turns red outside my journal and paraphrasing the Late Great Everlasting J.C. "I'll Be Back" |

| Here I sit all ready to go
because soon everyone & i Will know
if the creek that has blocked passage so far
has gone down enough not to swallow my car
ive been 7 days stuck out in this place
as the days grow long like the beard on my face
i'm ready to go, not a day later I stay
I long to see Amy and with my kids I will play
the Lord is my shepard and I shall not want
this place I call work I will no longer haunt
for 7 days home is what I'll do next
But come back I will, in 7 days i'll be vexed
Later Y'all

THanks for the Welcome Megan
| Well this means thank you for your welcoming post. (im sure you figured that out.) Quote:

| This means I am back at work on a drilling rig. And Roughnecks are the guys that run the rig and do all the hard work. We drill holes in the ground to get the natural gas and petroleum out. I spread the gospel to those who work with me. Some like it, some don't. But most seem to tolerate my blasted christian ways. Quote: |
and let everyone know that it's free
| and this just means that getting your soul saved is a free gift, courtesy of Jesus Christ.
All in all it is just a silly poem/rhyme saying that I am back at work, spreading the gospel, and going crazy waiting to go back home again.

| I think I confused my first blog fan. Sorry Megan
Well today I am trying to learn Revive Me by Jeremy Camp. The strumming is pretty simple but the finger picking kind of has me stumped. I downloaded the Tab from here and am trying to follow allong with the CD but just cant seem to get the chords he used. I can do a pretty good imitation and just wing it but I love this song and I want to get it down a little better before I play it for our church. Practice practice practice
I think i need an electric guitar. I have heard they are easier to play than acoustic, especially when fingerpicking like on this song.
I also wanna learn Here I Go Again by Casting Crowns. The words in that song speak to my heart because I have friends that I have witnessed to and they didn't respond and I wonder what to say next to them. How much is too much and how much is not enough. Well thats all for now.

| a poem
Learning how to blog is not easy to do.
What do you write when you are writting to you?
Do you talk to yourself like you're the third person?
Do you talk about the days as they better or worsen?
Do you banter with new friends and reply to every post?
Or do you tell about your family and the ones you love the most?
Do you tell about your world and daily events in your life?
Do you talk about the world and all the worldly strife?
In a forum like this is talk about God the central topic?
Or is it when you went on vacation somewhere in the tropic?
Do you talk about your job to people you do not know?
Or talk about the sunshine to someone who talks about the snow?
As I read these daily blogs in a forum I've come to love,
I think that I have found you talk of all of the above.

I've never used it though, as I don't have allergies...oh well. Hurrah for new people to my journal. YES!
I just read through your whole blog. (Yeah, I didn't earlier. ) I feel like I should be calling you "sir" and "Mister Donny" now...haha. I like your rhymes that you randomly post. They make me laugh. And I love Casting Crowns. Mercy Me is really great to. Do you like Third Day and Jars of Clay?

| No need for the mister or sir I feel old enough already. Besides I still feel (and act like) a teenager most of the time(but I don't talk about school all the time ).
I love Third Day, they are my most favorite band. I got the Third Day Worship II cd and learned to play almost every song for my church.
Jars of Clay are pretty cool to but I really love Jeremy Camp and Mercy Me.
As for the Allergies, they are a fact of life but thanks for the sympathy I need all I can get.
I will post some new ryhmes later so come back to see me.

| NOOOOOOO Mr. Haha. I am only 29 that is not that old. I think if you like Third Day you will like Jeremy Camp, same style.
I just spent about 30 min reading through AuthenticGroove's blog and if you like poetry, you should check it out. She is pretty deep and has some pretty great posts. She is like a year into her faith and is really zooming along. Anyway, I posted a poem back to her and if you want to read it click HERE. You may not understand some of it unless you read through a few pages of her blog. Pretty insightfull.
Well gotta go. Have to work and stuff.
