God you are the Man
you made the sun you made me tan
you make grass green you made man
you made women you made child
when we were all born we know that you smiled
you made water and you made sand
you made fish and the fingers and hand
you made the sky and the stars shine so bright
you made the desert and the bird in flight
you made the big you made the small
you gave your Son to die for us all

Love to You my God

Hey man, I am from A&M Kingsville, and I think it is awesome that I actually know the town you are from! I worked as a Summer Youth Director in Refugio this summer, so I had to go to AP a couple of times (Y'all got a Wal-Mart!) Well, just keep on doing awesome stuff for the Lord, and ministering to those roughnecks... I have a friend who works out on those rigs and stuff, and he definitely needs Jesus, though I doubt you would know him. If you ever come across a wanna-be Jackie Chan named Martin, tell him about Jesus! Laters.

D...

Never before has anyone extracted tears from my eyes in any post except for your first post in my blog. I took a 10 minute break on my bed crying and praising God for you and praying for you so that you might be blessed beyond your natural ability of comprehension.

After the fact I read your blog, and just as I was drying up (mind you, my tears don't come to petty things) I read post #15 referring someone to my blog stating that I'm zooming along, and I'm insightful, and you dig my poetry! *falls to knees with gratitude* I firmly believe that our Lord uses people to bless others in many diverse ways and, my friend, you have blessed my heart beyond what you think.

What you have done is not merely complimented me, and flattery does not roll off the tongue when I come to describe this ... it is gift, compassion, unfailing love of Christ from the heart that I so cannot express the importance of with any more emphasis! What you have is what I am talking about! Who you are! Live and convey by example!!

My friend, I am a normal, down to earth dork of a girl. Haha And never do I mean to be preachy and I'm sorry if it ever comes off that way. But you blessed me today with a mark of tenderness newly etched on my heart. You never know when someone is going to need a compliment of that manner, today was the day for me . In fact, I wasn't even going to get on the computer, but something compelled me to want to check my CGR and Xanga. Little did I know what I was in store for!

You are my senior by ten years , yet I feel close as if you were my brother (who is 21). All this to thank you for the blessing you have given me today. Ever need anything prayed for, or anything at all... you let me know. I want to be there for you like you have been there for me.

Peace doesn't come from attaining, it comes from the state of needing nothing.
But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. (Jude 11:20)

I just spent about 30 min reading through AuthenticGroove's blog and if you like poetry, you should check it out. She is pretty deep and has some pretty great posts. She is like a year into her faith and is really zooming along.
I've heard many great things about her.

Anyway, I posted a poem back to her and if you want to read it click HERE. You may not understand some of it unless you read through a few pages of her blog. Pretty insightfull.
That's pretty neat.

Yes, we were so excited to get a SUPER-Walmart. Moooovin up. Since you go to TAMUK you probably have been through the metropolis of Banquete TX. Thats where I went to H.S. Yep been through Refugio a few thousand times, where were you Y.P at.

And as far as the roughnecks go, they are a tough lot. Some wont listen, some will curse at you, and some will agree with you and then go right on living the way they always have. Where does Martin AKA Jackie Chan work? What rig? I may know him cause the Oil Field is a small world and I work on a lot of different rigs. Anyway if I run into him, be assured he will hear about J.C.

Makes ya feel good to be Christian when you can fellowship with other Christians like this. Makes me feel good to have affected another believer as much as she has affected me. Man did I ever enjoy all of the poems in your blog. Real expression is hard to find and you have nailed it. I have been a blind Christian since I was 15 yrs old. I went to church, sang songs, did youth projects. Yet I was blind. Now I am a BELIEVER. I never knew what it meant to have Faith until about a year ago. Started going to church and readin my bible and prayin and stuff like that(Makes alot of difference when we do what God tells us).
Like I said before, you have inspired me to push it to the edge, and REALLY get out of the box and live everyday for God. My humble poem could never compare to the words you put together but I was inspired. I just kinda hack away but you really put your heart onto paper.
Well I am honored to recieve the status of your Christian Brother and will pray for you and your walk with Christ. If you ever need prayers call on me and I will pray. Makes me glad to have been a blessing to another. Continue to post those awesome poems because you have a big following.
And you are not normal, you are extrordinary. You have not come off too preachy, Amy and I talking about your Blog(she hasn't read it just had to hear about it from me for the last 2 days) and she said that she was watching a lady on TV from and Arabic country(cant remember her name or the country) who touched her heart like you have touched mine. We as Christians need to talk to EVERYONE that we possibly can about our faith, not just our Christian friends. That's all for now friend.

The sweetest thing I'll ever hear
Another Christian Shed a tear
from humble words that came through me
But Christ is how they came to be

Ok, point given. (young wippersnappers)
I am pretty good today. Got home yesterday and am planning my week off. Trying to pick a song to play at church. Probably something from Third day (since I know all of them already).
How have you been? Killed your brother yet? J/K

Being the resident ministering spirit to the Journal forums, I demand that you make me count as TWO fans of your blog, for I am subscribing, and I will be here forever. Well, for a good while. You are a pretty cool/hip old guy.

Anyways, I am glad Jacy eliminated my need to call you sir, because I wanted to call you that too. I think, in honor of lame Disney movies, I will call you Mister Sir. Is this acceptable? Good.

Do you like Caedmon's Call? Jeremy Camp is the awesome. I am not too crazy about MercyMe, though. Sorry. Third Day is totally awesome. You should try and get your hands on Ben Glover's album 26 Letters because it is amazing.

This is the longest introductory post into someone's blog that I have ever posted, I think. Feel appreciated, you old geezer dude.

Note - If my dry pokes at your age genuinely offend you, please say so. I am just having fun, but I don't want to annoy you.

You sound serious when you make your demand
What you shall ask shall be my command
I hear-by count you as two fans here
But I also appoint to more than you fear
As President and CEO I hearby appoint you
And Spritual Advisor should give you some things to do
Would Janitor be too much to ask?
Maybe that's to menial a task
Again at my age i see your thought
Has turned to the aged of which I am not

Ok, Ok, Ok, I give up. Couldn't think of a ryme for Mister Sir. And I loved that movie by the way. The Sweet Onions Keep the Lizards away. Ha! they keep every one away when I eat them. Anyway, Mister Sir is the Required salutation for any one your age or whoever is still in diapers(which ever comes first).
Yes Jacy eliminated the need(darn near pounded it into the dirt) to call me mister even though I am OOOOld.

No I havent heard either but upon your recommendation I will look for them at Family Chirstian. Mercy Me is not my fav either, just a couple of songs. Third day, Casting Crowns are awesome and Jeremy camp is climbing the charts.
Thanks for your post, I will check your blog asap and no I do not mind the jokes about my age. What can I do I am old remember.

You won't find Ben Glover in FMC, because he lost his record deal a couple years back. You would have to buy that off of half.com. It's good. And I love Casting Crowns, too.

Fear Not (A poetic fragment)

Fear is a very basic emotion
God invokes fear on land, in the ocean
Every living creature trembles at his name
to fear God is to reverance him the same
He tells us to fear Him, obey his comand
He tells us to worship him, fulfill his demand
The bible tells to fear Him, He will save us by grace
The Fear of God is Holy when you look up to His face
But to fear our Lord and worship Him gives everlasting life
To disobey and dismiss Him is a world that leads to strife
The Lord tells us to fear him throughout his Holy word
But listen to the message many may not have heard

Now therefore FEAR YE NOT, for I will nourish you
FEAR YE NOT, my loyal subject I will see you through
Joshua FEAR NOT, you will not be dismayed
Walk your time around those walls, be glad that you stayed
The Lord said Fear Not for I am at your side
I will send My Son for you, your transgressions He will hide
God loves us very much, as the scripture reads
He gives us these emotions and every thing we need
Our fear of him comes not for torture's sake
But respect for His power this fear does it make
Invoke the Fear of God in the enemy you face
for God say's Fear Not when you are in my place

The fear of God works both ways
for those who are with us for all of their days
and those who are against us in all thier sinning ways
Pray for the believer and those who are lost
The know not what Jesus did and they know not the cost.

I love my God

Not sure

I'm Not so sure
Sure of myself
Myself who is lost
Lost in this world
This World that is lost
Lost in strife blind to love
To love everlasting in Christ
In Christ lies my love
My love that He gave
Gave for me on the cross
The Cross that he bore
Bore for our sins
Sins we commit
Commit do I
I'm not so sure.

--

I profess with my heart and mouth, I repent with on my knees, I love with every atom in my being. Grace Be to God, for with out him, I am nothing.

My Life in a Song (with Chords and everything)

I sang to God in church the other day
I sang with my guitar, in that special way
Reserved for when I pour out my heart to Him
God uses our time together to minister to them

The lost souls in our church are floating by
They hear the message every week like you and I
But the melody of a song is what gets them through
Their hunger for the Lord is not as great as me and you

God please use me
Put me up there on the cross
And be a beacon to the lost
God please use me
put me right at Jesus' side
Let me light up someones life
God Please use me.
You ask me what I wanna do
Put me right up their with you

Don't get me wrong I don't wanna take His Place
I just wanna be recognized by His Face
Maybe I'm kinda lost But I realize what my sin has cost
I don't want my faith to disappear like a morning frost

I wanna take responsibility for the choices I make
I wanna testify to people for their own sake
God please use me as tool in your chest
Send me as a messenger to the east and the west

God please use me
Put me up there on the cross
And be a beacon to the lost
God please use me
put me right at Jesus' side
Let me light up someones life
God Please use me.
You ask me what I wanna do
Put me right up their with you

My hands shake as I play another song to You
My voice waivers and my neck turns red too
I find steadfast love from you calms my life
I share the gospel with my song and it ends peoples strife

Use my humble talents, they are a gift from you
I know we spread the word in every thing we do
My gift of song has made many people sad
Realizing all the many chances they've had

God please use me
Put me up there on the cross
And be a beacon to the lost
God please use me
put me right at Jesus' side
Let me light up someones life
God Please use me.
You ask me what I wanna do
Put me right up their with you

Nail my hands to this guitar, I dont wanna be a star
Just deliver someone through me, make me be all I can be
I wanna take on someones pain, help deliver them from the rain
A slave to Christ I am, I hope you understand

Needs a little work, but I post it here for your enjoyment.
