I approve of crappy guitar smashing (anything over $75 is too much). Its just when people smash GOOD guitars that make me mad.
I say set it on fire-jimi hendrix style

(altho that fire doesnt look all that real to me...)
Or have a bucket of karosine (sp?), on stage and at the end of the show, dunk the guitar in, set it on fire and smash it! that would be awsome! and take pictures, and post them!

u mean smash it while its on fire? im not nikki sixx! but yeh it would be cool. of course the club would get mad...we would probably burn the place to the ground. in fact i would probably damage their stage too...we will most likely be doing house parties for a while though...dont want any open flames there. good idea though lol.

a juvenile waste of money, prolonged by wealthy kids with more money than brains.

Thats what guitar smashing is all about.

dude, i dont want to cause im a smash-happy rich kid or anything. my family isn't the least bit "well-off", and i barely have enough money to buy guitar stuff. i have an old, crappy guitar that no one wants, it is literally trash. instead of simply tossing it in the garbage, why cant i break it for fun? i dont go around vandalizing things or anything. i dont understand?

nikki sixx did that?? thats sweet. i am gonna go search for a video
put a peice of plywood on the stage, and smash the guitar on there so no damage is done to the stage. and after a while just throw on some water.

its made of plywood. the finish is scratched. there are no strings. the wood is chipping i already have splinters from the neck. the paint is beginning to fade. the humbucker is crap. the wiring is crap. its a useless piece of junk that looked halfway decent new, but a few years have really taken its toll.

lol i dont know if he himself did that, but i do know that he was known for lighting his boots on fire during performances and and im guessing he most likely pulled a stunt like that. and to quote what someone said earlier (sorry i forgot), im not going to take the time to upgrade this thing...itd take as much or more money than it would to buy a brand new guitar.
