i am soooooooooooo bored.

all this week i have been busy with school or somethin, and now i have nothing to do today.
plus, add to that the fact i am anxious to get my hands on my next guitar! tomorow, trip to H&H. i am getting jumpy now.

ive been reading the threads in guitar forum about building guitars. and that reminded me that last year i wanted to try an learn to build guitars. but by grandpa's shop is stuffed full of junk, i cant get to the tools.

i wish he were still around, i bet he could build a guitar in like a day. he used to be a contractor or somethin like that before he retired. and after that he worked with his tools an such most of the time. till he moved next door to us, then we had a shop erected for him to work in. in which he worked for most of the 7 or so years he lived there. (john d. sheffield 1907-1998).

mman, this guy could make just about anything in that shop of his. he had tools that woulda been state of the art back in the 20's!

my uncle has most of the tools now tho, wich is why there is room for junk in the shop . he has kinda taken over the wood worker kinda thing. he has his garage, and another room in his house dedicated to those kinda projects i think. he also makes stained glass art (he has made some reall kool stuff)!!

WHOOHOOO!!!!!!!! saturday morning!!!

nothin much to write. about this mornin as i just barely woke up, an needed somethin to do.
imma hit 3 or so stores today for music related stuffs. guitarcenter cause they are havin this massive sale today (or so it said on the radio), and a ton of their stuff is half off. so i wanna go see if they dropped anything into my price range
then off to H&H, and possibly on the way back go to best buy or some place, an get the demon hunter album.

well, got my guitar. didnt get the one i was originally goin for.

i wound up getting a metalic-ruby red affinity strat.

man this thing rocks. onlyi found out that i was right in not wanting to stick with the factory strings. first day with it, i broke 2 strings trying to tune it.

i got to test it out on a friends amp, man this thing sounds so kool, especially when you lean on the tremolo.

well, last nights "crossing" service went good. the band (hector sotelo band) were as good as always. anyone in houston, or surrounding areas come check this out. it is awsome.

well its raining here in the great state of houston

my dad said its possible that ivan is gonna hit texas, cause it isnt following a "florida" storm track right now. he said its takin the same path that carla took back in the 80's i think.

its also as powerful now, as carla was.

the quest goes on for...BAD TECHNIQUE, NEW STRINGS, FASTER TREM WORK, GETTING THE SWITCHFOOT INTRO DOWN!

once i restring it, an get the guy at the shop to set it up for me, im gonna go crazy on that thing.

i dont get why all those tabs on this site say to do a hammer.

maybe some people can move their fingers that fast to make it smooth sounding but i cant. bend it is!

im gettin good making chords sound nice with only 4 strings (missing the A, and high E strings). maybe its just cause electrics are so quiet when their unplugged, an so i cant hear the bad notes

maybe if i get paid for this yard i cut this week, ill have a friend take me down to get some new ones. DOWN WITH FENDER FACTORY APPLIED STRINGS!!!!!!!!

sorry, thats just the way i get when 2 of the factory installed strings break on their first test drive.

hmmmm, what else is there to say......

well, im almost done makin supper, so i better get back to them noodles, or's they will stick to the bottom of the pot

ttyl.

walk in peice, and if not ,carry a peice!

my mom is freaked out over this song i wrote called "this is the dark place where demons hang out". i know its a long title, and it makes you wonder what the hell i was thinkin when i wrote it. thats pretty much exactly what my mom asked anyways.

it has a positive message about not going where you shouldnt. how that can be dangerous.

i wonder how come post in cpf dont count toward your total post count.

anyways, ttyl.
