If you are old enough, do you plan to vote? If not why?

Government and Economics would probably be a better suited forum.

Anyways: Yes, I am definitely voting this year.

Hmm, yeah. Off to the government and economics forum we go.

Even if I was 18, I'm not completely sure I would vote, though....

I will probably vote in the National election but I do not feel at this moment I know enough about local candidates to do the same.

It would if there were not already an active thread on this subject there: http://www.christianguitar.org/forum...ad.php?t=82026

This isn't a thread asking who you'd vote for, I don't believe that's a very good idea considering the debate and arguement that might come of it, which is why I didn't start a thread like that. It's a thread simply asking if people plan on voting at all, in general.

Anywho, I certinly plan on voting. They say the younger generation doesn't mean as much as voters because much less of them vote and most the time they go with who they like not what they stand for. I think the right to vote should be taken far more seriously. I would like to have a say so in who runs my country especially this day in age.

Definitely. I owe it to the country to vote for the candidate whom I think would do best to lead us, especially in this sensitive time.

Acts 1:8 -- But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye sahll be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Mark 16:15-18 -- And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall hlay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Yes, I plan to vote, especially if there are some republican tennis balls running locally.

If this were the assumption, then no, I would not vote. There is noone (maybe besides the socialist or communist party) that I feel would do best to lead us. Thus, I would have no clear choice based on my opinion, and would not vote.
I owe it to MYSELF to be honest.. will anyone of these guys be best to lead us?

If I do vote, It will be for one of the two parties mentioned above.

maybe i shouldn't be answering this, seeing as i can't legally vote, but i would hope that everyone who can does! it is a right and duty we have, and why not exercise it, for it benefits the entire community!

as the Godless philosophy of Communism is probably responsible for the majority of slaughters of Christians in the 20th century, I'm astounded that you, ostensibly a professing Christian, have the gall to support that philosophy.
