| Unfortunately there's already a user with the name rainer. So you'd have to come up with a REALLY good reason as to why Luke should change your name since he has reservations about deleting other users. I know. You could say that you're dying and the only way to survive is to have the name rainer instead of rainer123. But that person only joined this year so it's unlikely. Is there another name you like?

| Actually, I want my new name to include the period at the end, so I think that would make it different then the "rainer" that's already a member. |

| Wow. When you say "just like that", you mean "just like that".

| And when you say "just like that.", you do not mean "just like that".

| Haha. The quote thing. Yeah.
That is the one grammar rule I know full well and still refuse to abide by. I think it looks stupid to stick punctuation inside of quotes (except in cases where the punctuation is necessarily part of the quote [i.e. And then John said, "Are you freaking insane?"] or where the quote is very long [as in a huge quote from an article or a conversation]).
In His love,
Nate

| I always thought the punctuation was supposed to be outside the quote unless it was part of the quote.

| That is not the most accepted convention.
I was actually not critisizing Nate, though, I also think the rule is wrong, I was trying to make a joke similar to his.

I think I understand the joke, Mike...
EDIT: Ahh yes... now it is clear.

In His love,
Nate | I'm disgusted by your flagernet disregard for a God appointed authority over us. Punctuation laws are an institue of God (Romans 13). We must abide by them or ask for forgiveness. No excuses. |
