hey every one im new here and i just wanna say cats r awsome i have two of them at home so hopefully the rest of u guys like cats

so we took our kittens to the vet today for the first set of shots ((about 3 weeks late... but hey! I did it. that's what counts, right?))
and we found out a few things: firstly, miss mittens doesn't have a broken rib or anything, her xiphoid process is abnormally long and grew off to the left instead of straight. it's a birth defect, but not a major concern. Whew! major relief!

and the other thing... brace yourself here: Miss Mittens is actually a male! that was a bit of a shock. And I guess I"ll have to stop calling him miss mittens..

That happened to me too when I first got my cat! (the mistaking it for a girl). Only I found in a way inappropriate for posting.

I am the proud owner of a black stray. She is about 4 months old and I love her to death. Her name is Jasper ( I thought she was a boy when I first got her) and she is my baby. lol. I didn't like cats at all before I had Jasper and she is the only one I like. My attitude toward cats before I got Jasper was, "Cat's are Satan's pet." My attitude toward cats isn't that much different now except that Jasper is an exception to the statement above. lol. Not all cats are bad just most. lol. Any way, Jasper does this weird thing that I have never seen any other cat do in my life (she does a lot of things I have never seen another cat do before but that's beside the point.) She likes to catch her tail and then suck on it. Is that odd? lol. It seems different to me, and she loves to sleep ontop of me which is cool because I like animals that cuddle and cats generally aren't the type to cuddle. Any way, lata days!
