| This post can be a list of offers that seem to be the best, so it's easier for you to look out for them if you get them. If you find a good one, post and tell us and I'll add it. Ancestry.com - not sure if they still have this one, but it was a good one in the past, if you want to try and cancel before the trial is over. Infone - All you have to do is sign up for their service, which includes giving your credit card number. They give you 5 free uses, and only charge you for the uses you make after that. They also give you a $10 amazon.com gift certificate. Netflix - a free trial that, again, you can try and cancel before getting charged, but you are not encouraged to do so. It's a great service anyways, so consider this offer for real. ColumbiaHouse - gives you five DVDs for $2.45 (free shipping) just for signing up. The catch is that by signing up, you sign into a contractual obligation to purchase four more DVDs over the next two years at full price (varies from $20 to $25). Stamps.com - You get a no risk free trial which can be cancelled before it ends and no charge will be taken on your card. If you choose to stick it out and stay with them, you get a bunch of free stuff, but then you start getting charged.
If you find another good one, please let us know.

| Well, here's the dirt. I can't use my parents credit card. So if someone wants for me to give my password to them, so they can go sign up for infone, do the thing 5 times so you don't get charged, but still get credit, that's the only way I'll be able to get in on this. I'd understand if you're weary of this or something... but just know I'm not going to try to steal your identity or anything. I mean, I've met 6 people on this site in person. If I try to jip you, they'll all beat me up and turn me into the police . I hear Danny has a less than passing interst in guns, and I'm pretty sure he'd kill me. Muahaha.
Tell me what you think....

| Can you give referrals to more than one person? Dumb question, I know, but...Also, I know that you have to live in the States to sign up for the offer, but do you have to live in the States to give a referral?

-Ted | I'd prefer not to do something like. As Jon said, Gratis is good about spotting fraud, and using the same credit card number for two different accounts may very well put up a red flag and get both accounts put on hold. Not good.
If you can't complete the offer and doing everything legitimately according to their terms and conditions, it'd be better not to do it at all. |

| You have to sign up for an offer to actually count as a referral, so, yes. |

| I've done all of them (I did iPods a long time ago and gave Danny credit). I'm adding myself to the lists and Bryan to the iPods list (I'm assuming that is the one he did based on his signature)--ApparentlyNothing, if this screws you up, just change it. I'm leaving out the links since that's what you seem to be doing; I've PMed you all of mine, and Bryan's is in his sig.
I'm also granting your sticky request.

I'm also granting your sticky request. | You are the man.
Also, Aaron Parsons was one of the ones who gave me a referral. I don't recognize the other email addresses.
And...it would probably be easiest if you just hid the HREF code for the referral links of those who aren't at the top of the list with <!-- and -->. That way Jon can just delete those characters when someone moves up the list instead of having to refer to PMs to get the referral links. |

All you have to do is cancel your free trial period before it ends and nothing is charged. Danny used this for his iPod offer. eBay - new account offer, not the eBay credit card offer. I think this one was taken off due to some people having trouble getting credit, but if not, this one's really good since all you have to do is create a new account and bid on an item. You dont even have to win it, so theres no trial to cancel, no money to pay, and if you dont use a hotmail, yahoo, etc. account you dont have to give your credit card. I used this for my iPod offer. Infone - All you have to do is sign up for their service, which includes giving your credit card number. They give you 5 free uses, plus they only charge you for the uses you make after that. So theres no service to cancel and no charge as long as you dont use it more than 5 times. I used this for my flatscreen offer.
If you find another good one, please let us know. | Oh, and to add to these, I have to suggest both Netflix and Columbia House DVD Club.
Netflix is a free trial, so if you want to cheat and just cancel your free trial before it's over, you can and you won't get charged. It is, however, an excellent service; I've been using it for months.
ColumbiaHouse gives you five DVDs for $2.45 (free shipping) just for signing up. The catch is that by signing up, you sign into a contractual obligation to purchase four more DVDs over the next two years at full price (varies from $20 to $25). If you're into movies, like I am, this is another great service. I currently have five of my all-time favorite movies (some of them special editions) sitting on my bookshelf that I got for less than 50 cents a piece. Not freakin' bad. |

-Ted | Like Danny said, Gratis has a way of knowing if you're trying to cheat them or go against their rules. You cannot have more than one account for a certain item for any address (you CAN have an account for the iPod, another account for the PC, and another account for the flatscreen. The sites are more or less seperate. But only ONE per site!). Thus you cant get your family to help you out. You cant even have your friend use the same computer as you did. They can tell what your IP address is, and if it matches up somewhere, your in trouble and they'll put your account on hold. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS!!!!! I dont want to lose my chances at getting something because of your carelessness or your trying to cheat the system. Just follow the rules.
As for the Infone offer, I've got to clarify something. You dont have to use it 5 times to get credit. You just happen to have 5 free uses, plus they only charge you for the when you actually use it. I stated this just to show the cushion you have in getting charged for it. There's zero risk you'll get charged. Quote: |

~Jon | Like Danny said and like I said above, you can have seperate accounts for each site (ipod, pc, and flatscreen). Thus you can give out at least 3 referrals to 3 different people. Once you give out a referral to someone though, you cannot give someone else another one. In other words, if you gave me a referral for the flatscreen, but then wanted to give Luke one too, you couldnt. The reason being you can only have one account per item offered, and you can only click on one person's link to create an account and complete an offer. You would have to sign up for a whole other account to give someone else a referral too, which is a big no no. But if you wanted to give me one for the flatscreen and Danny one for the PC, thats absolutely ok.
As for living in the States.... the rules state that you must have a valid shipping address in the US. So, if you were feeling generous and you had an address you could use in the US, then it would be fine. Quote: |

As for the referral links, that does sound a lot easier. Thanks. Quote: |
